Teen Wolf will be getting quite a few new characters during season 3B, including a new deputy and another supernatural entity.

The number of law enforcement officers in Beacon Hills is on the rise. Not only will Scott's (Tyler Posey) FBI agent father (Matthew Del Negro) be sticking around whether his son likes it or not, but Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) will also be receiving some help. Deputy Parrish will be making an appearance on the scene at some point during the second half of season 3, according to E!.

However, now that Stiles' (Dylan O'Brien) father is aware of the unusual goings-on of his town, how much information will he have to hide while conducting investigations?

His job won't be made any easier by the appearance of a Nogitsune. Described by E! as a "malevolent man with inhumane movements," this possible new advisory also only speaks in riddles.

"We're heading into a new mythology based on the Kitsune myth, which some people might know a little bit about," Davis said at the show's Comic-Con panel over the summer. "It is a very, very fascinating Japanese shapeshifter myth about the were-fox and the trickster spirit."

While it is rumored that Arden Cho could play the kitsune since her character was previously reported to be of Korean and Japanese decent, a Nogitsune is often described as a malicious form of a kitsune.
