Dean is looking for an angel, and in his desperation, any angel will suffice.

Supernatural season 9 is set to premiere tomorrow night and a new sneak peek shows Dean (Jensen Ackles) praying for help and forgiving Cas (Misha Collins) in "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here."

"Cas, are you there? Sammy's hurt," Dean can be heard asking.

Its not the first time the elder Winchester brother has turned to Castiel in an effort to save his brother, and it also isn't the first time the two have parted in anger.

Although Dean managed to convince Sam (Jared Padalecki) not to sacrifice his life in order to close the gates of Hell, the trials have taken a toll on the hunter. As the premiere opens, Sam will be unconscious in the hospital while heaven and hell are in turmoil.

Following the events of last spring's "Sacrifice," the King of Hell (Mark Sheppard) is in a half-cured state, Abaddon (Alaina Huffman) is loose and looking for power, the angels have fallen, and Castiel is in a human state following the theft of his grace by Metatron (Curtis Armstrong).

'Supernatural' Resurrection of Dead Angel, A Dalliance For Cas, Fallen Angels' Powers

"It's something of a broken landscape the boys are coming into here, because the normal constructs they've become used to, the King of Hell in Hell, and the angels in Heaven, that's not there anymore," said executive producer Jeremy Carver, according to ksitetv. "It's a little more diversified, in that each of our characters are going through a pretty significant, almost 'who am I?' journey here.

Dean is seemingly the only member of Team Free Will left standing, and he will do anything to save his little brother. Although Cas may currently be a baby in a trench coat, he may still be able to tune into angel radio. However, his inability to just pop to Dean's side will lead to Dean putting out a wider plea for help.

"Okay, listen up," Dean says while praying in the hospital chapel. "This one goes out to any angel with their ears on. This is Dean Winchester, and I need your help."

From previously released promos, it looks like Ezekiel (Tahmoh Penikett) will be the one to answer the hunter's call. To save Sam, Dean will have to go inside his brother's mind where the two will meet up with the long departed Bobby (Jim Beaver) as well as have a brush with Death (Julian Richings).
