No. 3 Clemson knows that they must take care of business first against Boston College Saturday afternoon before they even think about going up against Florida State on Oct. 19.

Head Coach Dabo Swinney said this week that he reminded his Tigers (5-0) to keep their eyes on the Eagles (3-2, 1-1).

"Our only objective is to get to 6-0 and we'll worry about the next one after that," Swinney said. "We have to stick with our formula."

Boston College has done enough to scare Clemson since it joined the ACC back in 2005. The Eagles first league victory came in Death Valley that same season. Boston College defeated Clemson two years later when they eliminated the Tigers from the ACC Atlantic title chase.

But after playing four of its first five games at home, The Eagles will travel to South Carolina to play only its second road game of the season.

To get prepared for the hostile environment the Eagles are likely to endure at Clemson's 81,500-seat Memorial Stadium in South Carolina, BC coach Steve Addazio had the Tigers' fight song played over at Alumni Stadium's public address system during Tuesday and Wednesday practices.

"It's going to be the loudest stadium we'll play in,'' Addazio said. "It's like an SEC stadium. You've got to be prepared for it or it'll rattle you.''

"They have dynamic receivers, a dynamic back, and a quarterback who is a veteran big-time guy,'' Addazio said. "Florida State had a great combination of that, too. But these guys are really something and this quarterback is more experienced. This is a tough, tough, tough deal."
