Kathy Wakile opened up in a rare, exclusive interview ahead of the conclusion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 5.

Wakile responded to the rumors that former cast member Dina Manzo might return for season 6. She thinks Manzo's return was a great idea because it would take away some of the focus on Teresa Giudice's ongoing feud with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, she said. Their storyline has been front and center for the past 3 seasons.

"It's tiresome and I'm over it," Wakile told Wetpaint. "I'm over all the drama with our family."

Wakile said she gets along with Manzo, so she looks forward to filming with her.

"Oh, I've known Dina for a long time now," Wakile shared. "I've been to most of her Ladybug events, and she's always been very pleasant to me. We're fine."

Wakile also weighed in on the unseen footage Bravo aired after part 2 of the reunion show on Sunday.

"There's not enough room to fit in everything that happens,"  Wakile told Wet Paint ahead of its airing. "So when they run these episodes, it helps fill in the blanks. It completes the story."

"I'm assuming there will be more dark moments than usual because, frankly, it was a pretty dark season," Wakile predicted. "But now everything's ok. I truly believe if you want things to get better, you have to dig deep. And we dug deep."

'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Reunion Part 2: Caroline Manzo Teresa Giudice Feud Over Season 5 Drama

A show insider reportedly told the Huffington Post blogger Tom Murro that Manzo, Caroline Manzo's estranged sister, wants to return to RHONJ. She is willing to return after a three-season hiatus, but only if Jacqueline Laurita is no longer on the show, said the source/

"Dina wants to come back but wants Jacqueline fired first, because she is afraid of fighting with her," a source close to the situation told Murro.

The source described Manzo's as-yet-confirmed return as the "onion [being] unpeeled next season on RHONJ."

InTouch reported last month that Dina was in "serious talks" with Bravo return to the show to replace Caroline, which left to begin filming her spinoff show.

"Dina Manzo's return to the show is all but a done deal" a show insider told the magazine.
