The new Batmobile for Man of Steel 2 is reportedly being designed, but don't expect it to look like the previous one.

A source at Batman-on-Film.com reported this week that the Batmobile was currently being designed by General Motors. The new Batmobile will be a departure from the look audiences are used to.

"It will definitely NOT have a military look like The Tumbler from [Christopher] Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy," the source said.

The source also reported that they are designing an "old Cadillac" that will be feature prominently in the film. It's possible that the new Batmobile and the old Cadillac will be the same, though the source admitted that the connection is entirely speculative.

In other Man of Steel 2 news, the crew filmed a scene at East Los Angeles College. The scene involved the football teams at Gotham City University and Metropolis State University squaring off in a game.

The game should be closely matched, since leaked footage from the game included the crew instructing the crowd: "The first play, you guys are all really happy about. The second play is gonna be all at that end, and you're gonna hate it."

Man of Steel 2 will feature the return of Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent while Ben Affleck has signed on to play Batman/Bruce Wayne. The movie has been tentatively titled Batman vs. Superman though an official title has not been decided.
