Its a never-ending battle between top networks ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX as they try to attract viewers with interesting TV shows. In a bid to up their game, over 15 shows have been slashed between the biggest networks, according to TVpredictions.com.

Recently, ABC cancelled its controversial "GCB" series, which prompted fans of the show to set up a fan site to petition for the show to continue. The site has already garnered over 17,000 signatures. Other shows cancelled by ABC include "Missing", "The River" and Pan Am".


But ABC is not the only network canceling shows, as NBC cancels "Awake", "Are You There, Chelsea," "Bent", "Best Friends, Forever" and "Harry's Law".

CBS announced that it will cancel "CSI: Miami," "NYC-22", "Rob", "Unforgettable", and "A Gifted Man."


FOX recently cut "Alcatraz," "Breaking In," "I Hate My Teenaged Daughter", and "The Finder."


CW will cancel "Ringer" and "The Secret Circle".


ABC's Cougar Town will move to TBS.


Meanwhile, NBC has commissioned seven new comedies to air this fall, which are: "Go On," "The New Normal," "Animal Practice" and "Guys with Kids." Other mid-season comedies include "Save Me," "1600 Penn" and "Next Caller."


Returning series for the NBC are: "The Voice," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "The Office," "30 Rock," "Community," "Parenthood," "Parks and Recreation," "Whitney" and "Up All Night."
