Johnny Depp and his reported girlfriend Amber Heard will appear on-screen together again in the movie London Fields.

The 50-year-old actor will have a cameo in the thriller based on Martin Amis' 1989 book of the same name, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Billy Bob Thornton and Jim Sturgess also star in the film alongside Heard. The movie, directed by Mathew Cullen, started shooting in London in September.

The film is set in 1999 London and revolves around a promiscuous psychic named Nicola Six (Heard) who meets her fate, which she foresaw through her visions. These visions include Nicola's own murder. The character also begins an affair with three different men in the film.

Recent photos from the set caught Heard wearing a a lacy black dress, gloves, high heels and a mesh fascinator. The 27-year-old has a quizzical look on her face as she walked down the London streets. A white-haired and unshaven Thornton was also seen on set, smoking a cigarette and wearing a long coat.

There's no word, however, what role Depp will play in the film.

Depp and Heard, who met on the set of their 2011 film The Rum Diary, have been linked since 2012. Yet, the two remain secretive about their relationship, primarily because of the desire to keep their professional and private lives separate.

"It's not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist. I don't want to be a celebrity," Heard told Flare magazine in the September 2013 issue about her decision to not discuss her personal life with the press. "Can you ever imagine yourself in a situation like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life? I would never want it."

London Fields is expected to come to theaters in 2014.
