Fans of the Netflix hit series, Orange Is The New Black, continue to frantically scour the web for news on its upcoming second season.

While the program's loyalists sit tight for a release date announcement, the actors who don the orange jumpsuits to portray their favorite characters have been heavily promoting the show.

In attendance on the red carpet at PaleyFest: Made In New York in late October, a few of the cast members got to dish on season 2 to Pop Sugar.

Taryn Manning (Pennsatucky) let fans in on what lies ahead for the upcoming installment's storyline, which she says will delve deeper into its characters.

"It's gonna get pretty crazy in the second season, so now that we've established and know who everybody is, there's like room to get in deeper into the belly of the beast so I think that that's going to be exciting for people to see," she said.

Writer Jenji Kohan, who's well know for her past work on HBO's Weeds, stated that OITNB will keep its fans guessing with several plot twists.

"There's many other different twists and turns and backstories, and just learning more about these characters, and probably getting more and more invested in them," she said.

Taylor Schilling's (Piper Chapman) response was similar to Manning's, sayingthe show would be giving its audience more of an inside look into the characters they fancy.

"More time with these people that you [the audience] have seemed to have fallen in love with, and more backstories. We're just continuing the journey. It's a new world and you get to know every character in new ways," she said.

Netflix's Orange Is The New Black is set to make its return for season 2 at some point in 2014. The program is currently in production in New York. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the popular series.
