The recently acquitted George Zimmerman is in the news once again after being arrested on Monday after reportedly aiming a shotgun at his girlfriend, shattering a glass table, and pushing her out of the house that she told him to move out of.

According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, Zimmerman surrendered to the authorities without putting up any resistance. He's being held without bail on aggravated-assault and domestic violence charges.

While the police were outside knocking on the door and trying to get him to come outside, Zimmerman dialed 911 and pointed the blame on his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, 27, who he claimed had "gone crazy on me."

"She just started smashing stuff, taking stuff that belonged to me," he added to the operator.

In a September dispute with his now estranged wife, there were no charges filed against him. However, on this occasion, law enforcement didn't believe his story.

Zimmerman was reportedly living with the woman in the home she was renting near Apopka, Fla., stated Seminole County Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma.

It was the second instance in a span of three months that the Neighborhood Watch volunteer, who was found not guilty in the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, was put in cuffs after being accused of domestic violence and threatening a woman with a firearm.
