After being excited to be marrying her best friend, Brooke Hogan has called off the engagement with her fiancee Phil Costa. 

According to E! News, A rep for Hulk Hogan's daughter confirmed that the couple has gone their separate ways. The rep added that Brooke planned to focus on her music, which is "her passion and love."

"Brook moved back to L.A. a couple of weeks ago to he closer to her mom Linda Hogan and she is currently in the stusion working on her new album," the rep said. "She's halfway through [the album] and expects to release it in the spring."

Enstars reported over the summer that Brooke and Costa got engaged after the NFL player got down on one kneed and proposed to her on June 29 during a weekend trip to Begas. 

"Happiest moment of my LIFE. I am marrying my best friend. I [wouldn't] choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful," Hogan wrote at the time along with an Instagram pic of the proposal.

Brooke appeared with her family on VH1's reality series, Hogan Knows Best from 2005 to 2007, before nabbing her own spin-off show, Brooke Knows Best, which aired from 2008 to 2009. 

Costa is currently in his fourth NFL season with the Dallas Cowboys. Brooke is currently employed with TNA wrestling.

Despite the ended engagement, Brooke seems to be doing alright. Earlier this week, she Instagrammed a "morning prayer" that read, "Dear God, today I woke up. I am healthy. I am alive. Thank you."
