Monica Shares Secret Shannon Brown Wedding VIDEOS For Third Wedding Anniversary (Watch)
R&B singer Monica celebrated her third wedding anniversary and shared a special video on Instagram.
The video shows a moment from her intimate wedding with her husband. Monica captioned the clip she posted on Nov. 22:
"Happy Anniversary SB. I am often times in awe of you!!! I fell in love with you the second our eyes met & everyday since I've thanked God for allowing me to experience a love that is of him!!!! You have always put the children & I above all else & you constantly remind us we are not alone.. The singer secretly wed NBA's Phoenix Suns player Shannon Brown in November 2010. They later had a second, bigger wedding with loved ones in attendance in July 2011.
The 32-year-old welcomed their first child together, a daughter Laiyah Brown, on Sept. 3. The newborn is the third child for the singer, but the first with basketball player Brown, 27.
Their family friend Vanessa Bryant, wife of Los Angeles Laker player Kobe Bryant, announced the news on her official Instagram account.
"I am so honored to announce that baby Laiyah Brown has arrived! Mommy and baby are healthy and well," Vanessa wrote. "Congratulations @shannonbrown26 and @monicamylife! We love you guys and we can't wait to meet Laiyah! #6lbs 9/3/13."
Monica has two children from a previous relationship - Rocko, 8, and Romelo, 5. Brown also has a son, Shannon Brown, from a previous relationship.
