SHIELD has some unfinished business with Centipede, and Coulson will be seeking help from one of their former projects on the next episode of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.

Marvelites haven't caught a glimpse of the deadly Centipede project or the deceitfully treacherous Raina (Ruth Negga) since "Girl In The Flower Dress." Left wondering who exactly the Clairvoyant is and why Raina needs to contact him/her/it, viewers have been left wondering just how the Centipede story will tie into the season arc.

"They will be making another appearance soon," said executive producer Jed Whedon, according to TV Guide. "We're going to see some old faces and get some more Centipede action going."

While Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team has twice experienced the destructive power behind the group's quest to create a super solider, SHIELD has only successfully managed to wrest on person safely from their grasp - Mike Peterson (J. August Richards). Although it appears as if Peterson has been with SHIELD since his close brush with death, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) does not see any reason to trust him, according to a preview for "The Bridge" (see video below).

Considering several shocking secrets will result in a dangerous twist during the upcoming mission, perhaps it is prudent to be wary of their new associate.

Agents of SHIELD will return with "The Bridge" on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
