'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 6 Ep. 5 Recap: Mama Joyce Threatens Kandi Burruss 'Fiance' Todd Tucker [VIDEO]
Kandi Burruss' mother threatened her daughter's fiance during Sunday's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
After Todd Tucker returned from a business trip, he learned that Burruss' mother, nickamed "Mama Joyce" had been inquiring about his intentions with her daughter and branded him an opportunist. She also suggested that he might have been having an affair with Burruss' best friend Carmen. Burruss, herself, told him what her mother said.
"She didn't really feel like you are the one," Burruss explained to Tucker during a private chat. "She made a snide remark about my ring saying it not as expensive as other people's rings."
Tucker, while visibly upset, explained that his feelings were hurt by Mama Joyce's comments.
"I'm getting frustrated, I give so much to this relationship and I'm just getting shot down," he said. "You might lose out on a man that's good for you."
He then suggested Burruss arrange a sitdown dinner with her mother to discuss her fears.
During the dinner at Burruss' home, Tucker asked a suspicious Mama Joyce, "Are we working at [getting along]?"
"The pie is good!" she retorted while ignoring the question. "Yeah we working at it even though I feel you're an opportunist."
Tucker flat out denied the claim and said he wasn't in the relationship for material gain.
"[Burruss'] house does not impress me," he countered, adding, "I love her to death."
"Well you're gonna have to prove that to me," Mama Joyce fired back. "I have my eye on you and I have people that are getting back to me [with information about you]. People from New York, you know you are slick!"

Tucker remained calm as Mama Joyce continued to rant and replied, "Why don't you tell me what I need to do to fix this?"
"Don't let me catch you [cheating]," Mama Joyce threatened before she burst into song.

Tucker was also questioned about signing a prenuptial agreement before marrying Burruss. Tucker said he intends to sign a protective order to protect his own money.
