Though Survivor: Blood vs. Water has ended, the new season of Survivor will premiere in just a few months.

Season 28 of Survivor was previewed during the live reunion show of Survivor: Blood vs. Water Sunday night on CBS. Host Jeff Probst showed a brief clip teasing the concept for the new season.

Survivor season 28 will be called Survivor: Cagayan and will feature three tribes of distinct personalties. There will be "brawn" on one tribe, featuring very physical fit players, "brains" on another tribe, featuring intelligent players and "beauty" on another tribe, featuring all physically attractive players.

There will be six players on each tribe, bringing the total to 18, which is a drop from the past two seasons that featured 20 players. Additionally, Survivor: Cagayan will feature all new players for the first time since Survivor: One World (season 24).

As for the producers' strategy in creating season 28, host Jeff Probst told Entertainment Weekly that they listened to the fans.

"That was really it. They've been saying over and over, 'We love the returning players, but we'd like to see a cast of new players.' And that's why we did it," Probst said. "That doesn't mean we will do it again anytime soon and it doesn't mean that we won't do it. Season 29 could be all new players as well. We're going to see how it plays and make decisions based on that."

Probst added that assigning "labels" to the players will be interesting to see unfold. He noted that the brawn tribe will be more aggressive, while the brains tribe feels the pressure of being able to solve a puzzle, while the beauty tribe will talk about how they flirt their way through life and how that will influence their behavior on Survivor.

Survivor: Cagayan, which was filmed in summer 2013 in the Philippines, will be a good one according to Probst. "I am optimistic that this will be another very good season," he promised. "A lot happens. I feel really good about it."

Survivor season 28 premieres in February 2014 on CBS.
