Survivor host Jeff Probst recently confirmed that the long-running reality series will be producing another Blood vs. Water season.

Probst talked to Entertainment Weekly Radio about this week about the current Survivor: Blood vs. Water, which features 10 returning players competing with a loved one. When asked if the concept would be repeated for a future season, Probst confirmed that it would be happening again.

"Definitely somewhere down the line," Probst said. "We're experimenting now with some casting ideas of how we can do it again and what's the next version of it. Do you need returning players, or could you bring fresh couples? So we're looking at all kinds of ideas."

Enstars previously reported that Probst was looking for applicants for another Blood vs. Water season on Twitter.

"If you think you and your loved one would be great together on Survivor - post it on Youtube and tweet me - I'll make sure casting sees it," Probst tweeted in late-October.

"If you were going to play #Survivor...w/ a loved one...who would u bring?" Probst tweeted before his request for video applications. "It's an instantalliance!"

The 28th season of Survivor has already been filmed so the concept will not show up again in spring 2014 but it's possible that fans will see Survivor: Blood vs. Water 2 for Survivor 29 or Survivor 30.
