Now that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's marriage is over, rumors have already swirled that the NBA player went back to his ex-girlfriend, Liza Morales.

When Morales starred in the TLC reality show Starter Wives Confidential, she seemed to still be in love with Odom and was heartbroken. 

"I don't think I'll forget the tight knot I felt in the pit of my stomach the morning I received the text message with three simple words on the screen," Liza wrote in an open letter about her former lover earlier this year.. "It read: 'I'm getting married' and it was from the man I'd spent more than 10 years of my life with."

Reports indicated that Odom was trying to reconcile with Morales. However, she took to Twitter to deny those rumors. 

"The new rumors are so ridiculously false, they are actually somewhat comedic.Being cordial is always beneficial when children are involved," she posted Wednesday. 

Odom and Morales dated for ten years and were engaged in 2000, way before he met Kardashian. According to a report, the former lovers will also be spending the holidays in New York with their two children, Destiny and Lamar Jr. 

"Lamar has been talking to Liza in the last few weeks, and she has been a tremendous source of strength for him," a source close to the basketball player told RadarOnline. "Khloe was always insanely jealous of Liza and that is why Lamar distanced himself. He now recognizes that was a mistake."
