After rumors swirled that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were living separate lives, the former American Idol judge confirmed that their hectic schedules have kept them apart.

Carey appeared on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happen Live on Sunday, Dec. 22, and revealed that while she was pregnant with Morrocan and Monroe, she was "alone."

The revelation came while Carey was answering a question from a fan about whether she would consider having more children with Cannon, which the singer said would not happen.

"I had preeclampsia; I had gestational diabetes, a really difficult pregnancy and I was alone most of the time," she said.

Carey then backed up her statement and showed some love for her husband for being a hard working man.

"We love Nick, but he's working!...He's the hardest working man in show business. Hi, Nick!" she said, waving at the camera and blowing a kiss.

When Cohen asked if Carey would judge another TV show after Idol, she replied, "No."

"You know what I really should have been doing on that show is doing the mentoring," she said. "I'm a producer, a writer, people don't realize that."

Enstars reported earlier that Carey's and Cannon's marriage was in jeopardy, according to an alleged source who dished to Star magazine about the couple's current relationship.

"Mariah and Nick's marriage is hanging by a thread. Neither of them shows much interest in working through their problems," the source said.
