Brody Jenner is speaking out about his father's separation from wife Kris Jenner, revealing that he's "doing better than ever."

In an interview with The New York Post, the 30-year-old Hills star said Bruce Jenner is rebelling now that he's free from the 57-year-old Kardashian momager and has even grown his hair out.

"He seems like he is doing great," Brody said. "Seems like better than ever ... growing his hair out, and he has a ponytail."

"He does a lot of these things in spite of the girls," Brody added.

Brody said that the Kardashian family used to make fun of Bruce's hair.

"He's one of those types. Even though maybe he'll want to cut it, he won't just because when he goes over to the house, they'll say, 'Oh my God, what's going on with your hair?' Brody said.

Back in October, Bruce and Kris confirmed their split in a joint statement. The Olympian moved into a Malibu bachelor pad, while Kris remains at the family home in Hidden Hills, Calif.

"The tension was real as far as growing up not knowing her intentions, who she is, there was obviously just drama between the family and parents," Brody said of Kris.

Enstars reported earlier that Brody felt that Kris always came in the way of his relationship with his dad.

"Brody has had a lifetime of this and he holds Kris responsible for Bruce not being a bigger part of his life when he was a child," a source said.
