The swinging Spider-Man made an appearance on New Year's Eve in a new teaser trailer.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video starts with an introduction from the film's executive producer and comic book writer Stan Lee, which leads to a scene of the superhero swinging all over the city. The teaser conveniently shows Times Square in New York with a crowd counting down for New Year's before Spider-Man (Andre Garfield) literally drops down.

The video also shows Electro (Jamie Foxx) and his daringly evil side as he goes up again Spider-Man. Though not shown in the clip, the superhero will also be fighting the Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and an unknown villain not yet revealed.

It appears that the film will keep in touch with the intense action and the witty dialogue. The teaser shows a scene where Spider-Man physically catches a car then says "need a hand?"

The movie will revolve around Peter Parker continuing to fight battles in New York City while keeping the romance with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). When the villains reign in and Parker discovers they are connected to OsCorp, he goes to Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) for help.
