Fantasia Barrino is not on suicide watch, despite earlier reports that indicated she was suffering from depression after her breakup with ex-boyfriend, Antwaun Cook.

The 29-year-old American Idol winner and Cook split nearly a year ago. Since then, he has returned to be with his estranged wife, Paula Cook.

Sources revealed that because of the breakup that left Barrino heartbroken, she was thinking about suicide. But the singer denied allegations, taking to her Instagram to let fans know that she is fine and in good health.

"Lol!!! Who keeps this stuff Going?? It's becoming a Lil questionable lord lord lord. It's almost been a Year and this is still going on. Lol!! He and I are not together. I'm not going anywhere so stop trying to make me Dead.. Lmao!!! I'm just getting started," she shared.

Getting started in 2014 for Barrino seems to be the path that she's headed. On Wednesday, she shared a positive mesage on her Twitter account for the New Year.

"Happy 2014 and the first #WellnessWednesday of the year! This year I plan to stay healthy and fit! What is your New Years Resolution? <3" she wrote.

Barrino won season three of American Idol and is currently nominated for a few Grammy awards

"3 nominations: best traditional r&b performance, Best R&B Song "without me" and Best urban contemporary album?? Lord I just want to Thank You!!!," Fantasia wrote on Twitter in December.

She is expected to attend the Grammy Awards in January.
