Popular MTV series Awkward is set to return for its fourth season April 15, TV By The Numbers reported Friday.

It will come back to its regular time, 10 p.m., with a special one-hour premiere. The fourth season will feature new showrunners, Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler. Viewers can also expect lead character Jenna (Ashley Rickards) to hit even more emotional snags this season.

MTV's press release reads, "[Jenna] endures more boy trouble, drama with her friends, a new girl in town who has eyes for Matty and even some cat fishing."

The same day that the news of the upcoming season's premiere date was released, some of the show's other leading ladies also took to social media to show their close-knit bond even when the cameras aren't rolling.

Molly Tarlov (who plays Sadie Saxton) posted a picture on Instagram hugging her co-stars Jillian Rose Reed (who portrays Tamara) and Nikki Deloach (Lacey Hamilton) at a Golden Globes party.

She captioned the picture, "In this 90s kinda world...I'm glad I got m girls!"

Greer Grammar, who plays Lissa, also revealed that the cast started reading for the upcoming season in mid-December. She shared the news on Instagram with a portion of the scripts for the first two episodes. It looks like the second episode will be called Listen to This!

She included the caption, "First table read for season 4 of [Awkward] this morning!!! SUCH great stuff is coming! Get excited!!"
