Despite rumors that they are splitting up, all is well for superstars Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey after nearly six years of marriage.

"Lots of sex," Cannon revealed to Us Weekly on Thursday about their secret to a successful union.

Aside from that, Cannon said spending time together also doesn't hurt. The two recently got back from a trip in Aspen with their twins Moroccan and Monroe.

"It was wonderful. We do that every year. We go away and have a nice little Winter Wonderland," Cannon said at the Variety Breakthrough Awards in Las Vegas.

Cannon went on to say that on top of marriage, having a career that you enjoy is a key to happiness.

"I tell everybody that my vocation is my vacation. It doesn't seem like work. Not like where you come home your feet hurt, you've been out in the hot sun...that's work," he said. "I get up and be creative."

As for their growing twins, they seem to be getting personalities of their own. The Wild 'N Out star said, "They're almost three. They're reading now. They're musical. My son likes to fight...that makes me happy. I got a guy who's gonna be a tough dude."

While Cannon was a child star himself on Nickelodeon's hit show All That and even is chairman of TeenNick, he is adamant about his children not following in his footsteps.

"Me personally, I wouldn't put my kids on television. But to each his own. Most aspiring child actors or child stars have a passion for it," he said in the February 2014 issue of Ebony magazine. "But as easy as it is for me to say that I wouldn't put my kids in it, if I saw that they really, really wanted to do and they had the drive, then I would fully support it."
