CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is taking to the not-so-friendly skies when the CBS procedural returns from its midseason hiatus with "Keep Calm and Carry On."

After 12 carry-on bags are robbed during a crowded flight, one of the victims is found murdered less than an hour after landing. D.B. Russell's (Ted Danson) Las Vegas based CSI team is called into to investigate and are faced with the task of unraveling a tangled web that could tie the thefts to Helen Morrison's (Ellen Hollman) untimely death.

A new sneak peek clip (see first video below) from tomorrow's episode utilizes the program's classic flashback narrative to show Morrison's reluctance to part with her luggage when a stewardess insists on placing it in an overhead bin far from her seat. Meanwhile, in the present, CSI's intrepid investigators are pacing the plane as they deduce where the thief may have been sitting in order to have a clear view of both his targets and their luggage.

Although the clip manages to rule out Morrison as a suspect, the team still has their work cut out for them. Unfortunately for Nick Stokes (George Eads), the rest of the investigation will be far from safe. It looks like the quick thinking of a colleague will be integral when it comes to keeping Stokes from taking a hit from a gun - or something else that points a menacing laser at our hero's chest - according to a preview for Wednesday's episode (see second video below).
