The long-awaited Entourage movie officially started filming this week.

The first photos from the set show some of the original cast - Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, and Kevin Dillon - filming scenes in Miami, Fla. on Thursday afternoon. Several pictures even catch the crew on a yacht.

Grenier also posted the news on Twitter the day prior along with a photo of himself flexing his muscles.

“I believe I'm Vinny-Chase-ready 2start shooting the mutha f%cking Entourage movie tomorrow! Who's pumped besides me?” the 37-year-old tweeted referencing his character on the show.

Many fans were just as excited as Grenier and replied that they “can’t wait” for the movie.

One fan also tweeted, “excited much??? Im first in line to watch this bad boy..miss you guys making me hurt with laughter like I been kidney jabbed.”

The popular HBO series, which debuted in 2004, was set to hit the big screen shortly after the series finale aired in 2011. However, it took longer than expected because of a rumored conflict and salary disputes.

"Movie is happening finally,” the show’s executive producer Mark Wahlberg told reporters at the Lone Survivor last December. "A lot of kicking and screaming but we got it done."

When asked about the rumors regarding model Kate Upton's lead role in the upcoming movie, the Lone Survivor star remained tight-lipped.

"I don't know," Wahlberg also said at the premiere, held at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. "I can't give away anything."

Doug Ellin, who is writing the movie's script, previously revealed a little bit of what fans can expect from the film during an interview with Deadline in 2012.

"There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that's still the first page for me," he said. "But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters."
