Billy Bob Thornton will be joining the cast of Entourage, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.

The Sling Blade actor will play the role of a billionaire cowboy turned financier who invests money in a big-budget film adaptation of Dracula, in which Vinnie Chase (Adrian Grenier) is set to star. Thornton's character's son will be sent to Los Angeles to check on the progress of the film.

Thornton just finished filming The Judge, in which he co-stars with Robert Downey Jr. The film is set to release in Oct. 10. The actor will also be starring in Fargo, the 10-episode series for FX.

Entourage will feature all the original stars in the series -- Grenier, Kevin Connelly, Jerry Ferrarra, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven. All are set to reprise their former roles--Grenier as Vincent, Connolly as Eric Murphy, Ferrera as Turtle, Dillon as Johnny Chase and Piven as Vincen't agent, Ari Gold.

It was also revealed that Peery Reeves will be reprising her role as Melissa Gold, also known as Ari's wife, in the film.

The film is being written and directed by Doug Ellin.

It was also being rumored that Kate Upton might play Vincent's love interest in the film. Upton was apparently in early talks with the producers but her press representative didn't care to confirm the information suggesting that the filmmakers had expressed interest in Upton before but that no talks for taking things forward were underway.

While it had not been revealed what role Upton was being considered for, it was being speculated it might be for Vincent's love interest as he was known to have a thing for blonds.

Production for the film started this month and the movie is expected for release next Thanksgiving.
