VH1's Love & Hip Hop New York earned his highest ratings this past Monday, January 18, 2013.

According to Nielsen, the reality show was Monday's top cable program with a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating up from last week's 1.6. The show beat WWE Entertainment that also aired at 8pm as well as E!'s hit-show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which debut the second night of its season premiere.

Meanwhile, Love & Hip Hop's Peter Gunz is clearing up rumors that he's on welfare after a photo of him and Amina Buddafly at a doctor's office hit the internet. Fans initially bashed the couple, assuming that they were waiting in a Medicaid office, but Gunz said the rumors are not true.

"Doctors appointment turned into us being at the welfare office. Smh... s**t I wish I was eligible for medicaid... real sh**," he tweeted Tuesday, later adding, "Don't take my word for it ask @MonaScottYoung ... im good now..  #gotmysh*ttogether."

Enstars reported earlier that Buddafly is currently said to be pregnant with Gunz's child.

Though she has been called a homewrecker by fans after she married Gunz while he was in a serious relationship with Tara, Buddafly told 365 HipHop that she's not happy with how she is portrayed on television.

"I was not happy with my role and portrayal but I will say that it was real life. I was a wife being hidden from the other woman, and in turn she was unaware of me. We knew of each other, but there were so many lies told. She keeps saying that I did know but the truth is I did not ! I knew Peter was probably lying; I was suspicious.  We dated for a year, and then we were married. I sometimes felt like marrying me was a way to shut me up but at the same time I felt like it was a move to show that I was his priority," she said.
