The recently-announced cast of Survivor: Cagayan is one of the most diverse casts in years, with multiple ethnicities and age groups represented.

Survivor: Cagayan features four African-American cast members, the most since season 14 (Survivor: Fiji) in 2007. Each is from a different walk of life as well. Brice Johnston, 27, is a social worker, Cliff Robinson is a 46-year-old NBA All Star, J'Tia Taylor, 31, is a nuclear engineer and Latasha "Tasha" Fox is a 37-year-old accountant.

There is also one Asian-American in the cast: Yung "Woo" Huang, a 29-year-old Martial Arts instructor.

Among the new cast, there are various age groups. While many Survivor casts are predominantly in the under 30 age group, there are only six out of 18 players among the Cagayan cast younger than 29. There are four players that are 41 or older and five that are in their 30s.

Survivor: Cagayan will feature three tribes of six, with the tribes being split up into specific skill sets: brawn, brains and beauty. The brawn tribe, called Aparri, is made up of physically strong competitors, the brains tribe, called Luzon, is full of thinkers and the beauty tribe, called Solana, features physically attractive players. This is the first three-tribe format since season 25, Survivor: Philippines.

Survivor: Cagayan premieres Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. on CBS. The premiere will be two-hours long, the longest premiere episode since season 20, Heroes vs. Villains.
