Once Upon a Time guest star JoAnna Garcia Swisher recently revealed the status of her character Ariel on the show and whether or not she would be coming back.

Garcia Swisher spoke with E! Online this week and confirmed that she will be appearing in an upcoming episode of season 3.

"Ariel's coming back, and I may have found my prince charming, but I think that you might need a little naïve mermaid to come back in town, maybe stir up some business," she teased.

When asked if she was going to be fitted for Ariel's signature tail, the actress said that she was hoping to keep her legs because of the frigid temperatures in Vancouver, the show's shooting location. However, she said that she was willing to go in the water if the story called for it.

In other Once Upon a Time spoiler news, series co-creator Adam Horowitz tweeted a photo of the script for episode 17 of season 3. Based on the photo, the episode will be titled The Jolly Roger, indicating that it will be centered on Hook (Colin O'Donoghue).

The Hook-centric episode could feature the appearance of another infamous pirate: Blackbeard. It was previously reported that the Once producers were looking to cast for Blackbeard in a one-episode role this season.
