Big Brother 16 casting is about to begin, and it is very unlikely that the summer 2014 season will feature "all-stars," despite previous rumors.

Big Brother casting director Robyn Kass tweeted to her followers that the search for this summer's new crop of houseguests was about to begin.

"Getting ready to start our search for this summers #BB16 houseguests!" she tweeted. "Apply on line bigbrothercasting.tv #noregrets."

Kass' tweet implies that Big Brother will not be looking back on seasons past to bring back certain players for Big Brother 16. There were rumors that the show was going to feature all returning players due to the unpredicted racism and offensive comments that occurred in Big Brother 15.

However, it is still possible that Big Brother 16 will feature a mix of new players and returning players, a concept the show used for Big Brother 13 and 14.

Kass recently posted a video with tips on what makes a good audition tape for Big Brother. The video features past Big Brother houseguests like Dr. Will Kirby, Rachel Reilly, Britney Haynes, Dan Gheesling and Andy Herren giving advice on what not to do in an audition tape.

For those who are not able to make an audition tape for Big Brother 16, Kass told her followers on Twitter that there will be open casting call events around the country.
