Despite heroically rescuing his girlfriend Carly (Laura Wright), Franco (Roger Howarth) may not live to see her again on General Hospital.

Carly's Rescue Goes Wrong?

After his mother, Heather (Robin Mattson) saw him trying to rescue Carly, the attempt went awry, and though they are both out of Heather's clutches, both Carly and Franco are now hospitalized.

In a preview for the Wednesday, Feb. 12 episode, Franco may not survive the injuries he has sustained, and could have rescued the love of his life, only to have her watch him lose his.

Ava Convinces Morgan They Can Be Together?

"I have a bad feeling Mom," a hospitalized Carly said in the clip, before a scene of doctors racing to save Franco showed.

"He's in BFIB!" and "D-nit he's crashing!" the doctors shouted as they tried to save him.

While the two rest it out in the hospital, Carly's sons, Michael (Chad Duell) and Morgan (Bryan Craig) will potentially come to blows over Morgan allowing his girlfriend, Ava Jerome (Maura West) into the Corinthos family fold, despite the brewing mob war between the two families.

"She is the enemy," Michael said.

"Not anymore," Morgan replied.

While the brothers argue over whether Ava can be trusted, she will be busy trying to convince Sonny that she is firmly on his side of the mob war now, because she wants to be with Morgan, and this is the only way for it to happen since he wants to remain with his family.

"Give me the chance to prove myself," she begged Sonny in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
