Though Franco (Roger Howarth) has been able to find Carly (Laura Wright), his planned attempt at rescuing the love of his life will not go as smoothly as planned on General Hospital.

Heather's Attempts To Kill Carly Thwarted?

After overhearing that something appeared to be going on at the Cassadine cabin, Franco went out to investigate-and found where Heather (Robin Matson) was holding Carly. Now he is attempting to rescue her and end the nightmare their life has become.

However, in a preview clip for the Tuesday, Feb. 11 episode, he appears to run into a complication when Heather realizes he has arrived.

Ava Convinces Morgan They Belong Together?

"Everything's going to be fine," he said to Carly as he cradled her in his arms.

"No it won't," Heather said as she came up behind him.

Heather may now change her plan to eliminate Franco as well as Carly, without implicating herself. If she can stage the scene to look like Franco killed Carly and then himself, she will successfully eliminate all reliable witnesses, and keep suspicion from being cast on her.

So far, the only suspect in Carly's disappearance has really been Franco, though suspicions have been raised that Heather could be involved.

Meanwhile, Carly's ex-husband, Sonny (Maurice Bernard) will receive a shock when his son, Morgan (Bryan Craig) informs him that Ava Jerome (Maura West) wants to switch sides in the mob war so she can be with Morgan again.

"How am I supposed to believe that?" Sonny asked Morgan in the clip.

If Sonny trusts Ava and brings her into the circle he could be setting himself up for disaster in the mob war against her and her brother, Julian (Michael DeVry).

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
