Despite debunking rumors that her marriage of nearly six years was headed for divorce in the past, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is apparently not addressing the latest news that she and her wife Portia De Rossi are headed for splits Ville.

Ellen DeGeneres Talks Wedding Plans With Sofia Vergara

Star reported earlier in February that the talk show host and De Rossi were headed for a $220 million divorce because DeGeneres, 56, is a secret "control-freak" who "bullies" De Rossi, and the 41-year-old actress has had enough.

An alleged source told the magazine that DeGeneres "refuses to let Portia go out with her friends, and she regulates who is allowed in their house." The source also claimed that DeGeneres didn't allow De Rossi to take several acting jobs because she was afraid continued success would take away her status as the breadwinner of the relationship.

Gossip Cop has debunked the rumor, claiming they spoke to a close DeGeneres friend who touted the story as false. The website has also hinted that the magazine is running the story as some sort of revenge plot against the talk show host, who mocked them on her show back in December, after they initially claimed the couple was splitting up.

In December, DeGeneres took some out from one of the broadcast of her talk show to debunk the rumors herself.

"The other day I was at the hair salon getting these extensions put in, "DeGeneres joked at the time. "And there were tabloids all over the hair salon...and on one of them...Portia and I were in the top right-hand corner. And I thought, 'Oh that's sweet, they're honoring us.' But then I read the headline underneath. And it said, 'Ellen and Portia Marriage Crumbles.' Ad I was like, 'Oh, what happened? They seems so happy.' And then I was like, 'Wait, I'm Ellen.' And I should know if that was happening."

"It's so ridiculous to me," she continued. "There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I'm very happily married. In fact, the only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more. That is all. It really is true.

DeGeneres also promised her fans at the time that if she ever were to make an official announcement about her personal life, including if she and De Rossi were headed for a divorce, she would make it on her show first.

Though DeGeneres has not outright debunked the rumors this time, she seemed to hint at them on her show when asking guest Eva Mendes about rumors claiming she was pregnant.

"I personally think this is ridiculous because I have rumors about me all the time that I sometimes address and sometimes don't, but there's a rumor that you're pregnant..." she said to Mendes on the Feb. 11 episode of the show.

DeGeneres and De Rossi also seemed happy back in January, when DeGeneres took to twitter to wish her wife a happy birthday with a sweet message.

"Happy birthday to my wife Portia. There aren't enough characters on Twitter to tell you how much I love you (or in the world, for that matte" DeGeneres wrote on Jan. 31, before proving her point by running out of space for the birthday wish.
