The publication revealed a close look at all the dinobots including Grimlock, Slug, Scorn and Slash figures. The intricately designed toys are done up in plastic and metal. Grimlock looks particularly striking and like quite the mean machine with a steely silver jaw, massive claws, the body done up in orange and black.

In January, the film's package artist Marcelo Matere tweeted what seemed to strongly hint at the presence of dinobots:

"I saw the concepts of all the Dinobots. Guys who like dinosaurs will freak out with Transfomers 4!" Matere tweeted in Portuguese.

When director Michael Bay wrapped shooting the film in Hong Kong, which will comprise of about 30 minutes of the entire duration of the film, he  said he shot a crucial turning point of the movie at the Wulong Karst National Geology Park. Bay released photos from the filming in Wulong Karst and in the respective scene a group of Transformers will reportedly meet another group of transformers to battle their way out of a crater that was created by a crashed starship.

Some publications speculated that the "other group of Transformers" will actually be the Dinobots.

In Dec. last year when Mark Wahlberg was questioned about the existence of Dinobots in the 2014 movie, the actor was tight-lipped.

"Oh, I can't talk about that," he said. "It's on a lot of people's bucket list but I haven't seen them."

The reporter prodded him further by saying, "So it's true then?" as Wahlberg seemed to be teasing the idea of Dinobots in the upcoming film without giving away any information.

"No, I don't know, I am more concerned with the human element," Wahlberg said.

Jack Reynor is the male lead of the film and will be playing a race car driver. Nicola Peltz acts as Reynor's girlfriend and Wahlberg will portray Flynn Vincent, Peltz's dad, whose alter ego is Cade Yaeger. Kelsey Grammer will be playing the role of Harold Attinger, a counter-intelligence agent who is the main antagonist in the film.
