Frederickson debuted her new body on the live Biggest Loser finale on Feb. 4, shocking the trainers and the audience. The 24-year-old was 260 pounds at the start of season 15 and weighed in at a meager 105 pounds on the live finale, with some fans claiming she looked "anorexic."

Michaels was visibly shocked by Frederickson's appearance and recently called in to The Tennessean to express her concern and disappointment.

"How did the show fail her?" Michaels said Tuesday, discussing Frederickson. "It's obvious we believe she's too thin. It's absurd on many levels, for her and how this happened, and I'm concerned about why we weren't told."

Frederickson spoke with The Today Show on Wednesday saying that she was proud of her new body and surprised at the negative reaction from fans of the show.

Michaels is reportedly talking to The Biggest Loser producers about the incident and how the show could be tweaked in the future.

"It's a competitive reality show. It's very clear this went way too far," Michaels admitted. "I think there are a lot of answers that everyone including myself are waiting on. I have a meeting with the show's producers to discuss my concerns."

Enstars previously reported that the Biggest Loser producers were considering tweaking the show going forward in order to prevent such drastic weight loss from happening again.

The Biggest Loser is currently casting for season 16, though it is unknown when the season will air on NBC.
