Seven months after the sudden death of her co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith, Glee actress Lea Michele has opened up for the first time about the future the two had planned to share together.

Lea Michele "Misses" Cory Monteith Every Day?

"We talked about a lot of things. We talked about children and what we would like when we grew old and who would be fat and how we would stay thin. We talked about where we wanted to go and what we wanted to do. We were done. We were it," she said in an interview with Glamour UK. "When you're at that place in your life with someone, you talk about everything. But today I feel I was given the best part of Cory and I'm thankful for that."

She also revealed how things like doing yoga have helped her cope and put her life back together since the tragic news broke over the summer.

Lea Michele Has Cory Monteith's Last Words Tattooed On Her Ribcage?

"At the start, it's hard because you're so physically and mentally shocked and damaged, but after a while you get tired to physically feeling so horrendous, so I started doing yoga, which really helped," she said. "Then gradually your mind catches up with your body."

"Now I feel a little bit more back together," she added. "And I have this blank canvas in front of me, which is what my life can be. There's something sad about that but also something good, because I will take that blank canvas and make something beautiful out of it.

The interview comes on the heels of Michele releasing an emotional tribute song for Monteith from her debut album, Louder. The song, titled If You Say So, is centered around the last words Monteith ever spoke to her before his July 13 death from a toxic combo of heroin and alcohol.

"It's been seven whole days without your embrace/I wanna see your face/I got some things to say/Was just a week ago/You said I love you girl/I said I love you more/and a breath, a pause, you said, if you say so/if you say so/if you say so," she sings in the ballad.

She also revealed that she feels Monteith with her every day, and she knows that one day, he would want her to move on and begin dating again, though she has no plans to do so anytime soon.

"I feel like it's so important to make sure that I'm 100% OK before I can get into a relationship," she said. "But people have to understand that I can't be alone forever. Cory wouldn't want that."

Michele's album Louder, which also features a second tribute song to Monteith titled You're Mine, hits store shelves March 4. Listen to her new song for Monteith below.
