Though her character Rachel has been able to get some closure with Finn's death, Glee actress Lea Michele is reportedly still having a hard time coping with her boyfriend Cory Monteith's death.

According to The Daily Mail, a source recently told People Magazine that Michele, who dated Monteith for two years, is still struggling in a lot of ways, but is slowly moving on with the help of her close friends.

"She still misses him every day...she talks about Cory all the time," the source said. "She doesn't like to be alone. Her friends have really been helping her through it. It's getting a little easier."

The actress tweeted a photo of herself and her late boyfriend at the 2012 Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles during Thursday night's Cory Monteith Tribute Episode.

"TEXT CHANCE to 50555 to give $10 to @ChrysalisLA an amazing org that Cory and I supported together," she captioned the photo.

After Monteith was discovered dead in a Vancouver hotel room on July 13th from a mixed toxicity of drugs and alcohol, Michele was reportedly inconsolable.

"She really struggled. It was hard to get up every morning," the source said. "But now, she's doing okay."

Three months after her beau's passing, Michele is working to promote her debut album, while still filming episodes of the show that brought her and Monteith together.

The tribute episode which aired on Thursday attracted 7.4 million viewers, up from the 5.06 million that tuned in for the Season 5 premiere.

In the episode, characters past and present united at McKinley to honor Finn's memory three weeks after his death, which was not disclosed in the episode.

Michele's character appeared near the end of the episode to sing the Bob Dylan song (covered by Adele) Make You Feel My Love.


In the episode, Michele gave Monteith a powerful tribute as Rachel Berry.

"I talk to him a lot. I can still see his face. I can hear his voice so clearly. Do you think that I'll ever forget it? Because I'm afraid that one day I will, " she said to Mr. Schuester in the episode.

"I had it all planned out. I was going to make it big on Broadway and maybe do a Woody Allen movie and then, when we were ready, I would just come back and he'd be teaching here and I'd walk through those doors and say, 'I'm home.' And then we'd live happily ever after...I didn't have to [tell him]. He Knew...he was my person," she continued.

Michele is not letting the pain of her loss prevent her from helping other friends who have struggled with addiction however, reaching out to her New Years Eve co-star Zac Efron recently, after it was revealed the actor had gone for a secret stint in rehab too treat cocaine addiction.
