As Manny Pacquiao trains for his upcoming big match against Timothy Bradley, another boxer is ready to fight the Filipino again.

Veteran Commentator Thinks Timothy Bradley Will Defeat Filipino Boxer?

Juan Manuel Marquez, who lost a split decision to Bradley last October, wants to take on Pacquiao for the fifth time, his promoter in Mexico confirmed on Monday. This comes after a Marquez's previous statement that he had no desire to fight Pacquiao again.

"He wants the challenge of the Bradley-Pacquiao winner, he wants to make history of a fifth world title in five divisions," said Fernando Beltran, referring to something that's never been accomplished by a Mexican fighter, according to The Los Angeles Times. "If Pacquiao wins he'll have the belt, and Juan wants it."

The two boxers already fought each other four times. Pacquiao settled for a draw the first time and then defeated Marquez twice. However, during the fourth match, Marquez beat the Filipino boxer by knocking him out in the sixth round in December 2012.

In the meantime, Marquez, 40, needs to prepare for his fight against 33-year-old Mike Alvarado at The Forum in Los Angeles on May 17.

One month prior, Pacquiao, 35, will also get in the ring for a rematch against Bradley on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The boxer is currently in vigorous training in General Santos, Philippines. New photos show him hitting a punching bag and jumping rope while wearing a shirt that reads "Fight For A Better World."
