Despite trying to help Katie (Heather Tom) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) get some alone time to sort out their feelings for one another, Hope (Kim Matula) is in for a shock when she learns that they are now in an actual relationship on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Katie and RIdge Give In To Their Feelings

After the fiasco that involved Katie fainting at Ridge and Brooke's (Katherine Kelly Lang) wedding, Hope got her mother out of the country so her stepfather-to0be and aunt could sort everything out, under the assumption that they would realize their feelings for one another were wrong, and everything returning back to normal as a result.

However, in a preview clip for the Wednesday, March 5 episode, she will learn that the complete opposite has happened, and Katie and Ridge have decided to stop denying their feelings for one another and are engaging in a full relationship.

Hope And Wyatt Investigate Ally

"My mom is going to be heartbroken," she said as she spoke to the new couple on the phone.

Back in Los Angeles, Katie and Ridge are happy as they sit together with glasses of wine by the roaring fireplace at Kate's home, but they both clearly worry about how the news of their coupling will be taken across their wide circle of friends and family members.

"Do you think we'll ever be able to get people to understand?" Katie asked Ridge as she snuggled up against him.

"We'll try," he said as he stroked her back.

Meanwhile, Hope has also been dealing with a relationship crisis of her own, as she and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) continue to face a barrage of insults, interruptions and unnecessary drama from Ally (Ashlyn Pearce), something they are both getting sick of.

"She has got to realize that we are in a relationship," Hope said.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
