The third season of Dallas is in full swing and while John Ross may seem like he's on top of the world, actor Josh Henderson revealed recently that it won't last long for the bad boy.

Christopher 'Licks Own Wounds' After J.R.'s Death

He told Yahoo! News in an interview, "This season's going to be a complete roller coaster for him, and his world, at least once, will crashing down on him because of everything he's trying to do at once. He's trying to move a million miles an hour...he's trying to move at the speed of a Lamborghini, but he drives a Honda Accord. You just want to say to him, 'You've got to slow down, John Ross. You're not J.R. yet.'"

While he hasn't quite filled the shoes of his late oil tycoon, billionaire father, J.R. Ewing, who passed last season, Henderson confessed the pressure is definitely there for his character to follow in J.R.'s footsteps.

"It is on my shoulders, a little bit. People say, 'You're having to fill the shoes of J.R.' I think it's more of, obviously, J.R. was my father, and now John Ross feels like it's a responsibility to take what is now Ewing Global and become the most powerful company in the world," Henderson said. "He feels like he has to do that in order for his daddy to be proud, and J.R. wouldn't accept anything less. He's obsessed with making this company the biggest in the world..."

Henderson also opened up about working on the show for the first time without Larry Hagman, who played J.R., and died of cancer during the second season.

"We lost Larry, so that storyline was heavy and intense, and real and raw and emotional. I think it meant a lot to the fans and to us, as the cast. This is our first year without Larry, for a full year, a full season, and it's funny how, even though J.R. passed, he still somehow manipulates every character on the show," he said.
