'Captain America 2' Will 'Heavily Affect' 'Agents Of SHIELD' Characters, Chloe Bennet Dishes On Crossover

Originally introduced as a Project Centipede super solider in the series premiere, the injured agent made his debut as Deathlok during "T.R.A.C.K.S." While he received commands from the Clairvoyant via his eye bug not to engage with SHIELD at that time, his orders may change during "End of the Beginning."

According to August Richards, his version of Deathlok has its roots in one of the more moral comic book versions of the cyborg character and that morality will make his forced work for Centipede that much harder.

"In my reading, I was drawn more to the Michael Collins version because this character is such a good man, such a good moral, decent person," Richards explained to The Los Angeles Times. "For [Peterson] to do the things he's asked to do as Deathlok are very difficult for him.

Set to air as the series' 16th episode, "End of the Beginning" will see several returning SHIELD agents. Agent John Garrett (Bill Paxton), Agent Jasper Sitwell (Maximiliano Hernandez), Agent Victoria Hand (Saffron Burrows), and Agent Antoine Triplett (B.J. Britt).
