Andi Dorfman has been named the newest star of The Bachelorette, following her stint as a competitor on Juan Pablo Galavis' season of The Bachelor.

Juan Pablo Slams His Contestants?

On Monday, ABC News reported that Dorfman would return to reality TV as she walks down a road that hopefully leads to love.

"I'm speechless. It's so surreal. I went on The Bachelor to find my husband and to find the love of my life," Dorfman said. "It definitely gets lonely being single...I'm just looking to find that great love."

Was Juan Pablo Galavis The Worst Bachelor Ever?

When Dorfman made her appearance on The Bachelor, things did not go well. The 26-year-old made it clear that her night with Galavis in the fantasy suite was nothing to be happy about.

"I saw a side to him that I didn't really like," Dorman said at the time. "The whole night was a disaster."

Dorfman ended up eliminating herself from the competition to win Galavis' heart, and after he didn't seem heartbroken over her decision, she further laced into him about his behavior.

"It's not okay," she said. "I left behind family and friends, a job. I missed a wedding and things. I did that all willingly. I put myself out there, it's not okay...you saying it's okay comes off as you not having feelings."

While starring as the next Bachelorette could be her way of officially getting over Galavis, she does appear to have high hopes for where the future will take her.

"I'm ready to fall in love," she said. "I'm ready to meet the man of my dreams."
