The Walking Dead is about to air its last two episodes of the season, and producer Gale Anne Hurd revealed that fans may need to brace themselves for more traumatic circumstances in the episodes.

Characters Find Terminus Chatter

On Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly posted an interview with the producer, where she discussed what will happen for the remainder of the season.

"The world of The Walking Dead is all about human choices, about what one has to do to survive, and how much each character is willing to sacrifice and compromise their humanity," Hurd said. "And we will really see certain characters pushed to their limit- in a way that Carol was- in these final two episodes."

Major Character Death Chatter

Based on the information that Hurd has given, it looks like the last two episodes could involve more killing of big characters as well as more traumatic situations. The most recent epsode saw Carol murder Lizzie after she killed her sister, Mika.

Hurd also dished on the upcoming fifth season with a possibility of Rick being pushed to his limit.

"It's always a question of how much can you come back from those moments, and those choices. And that's where Season 5 will take us," Hurd said.

Hurd then hinted that while a spin-off show is a possibility, the main focus is still on Walking Dead.

"Right now our focus is on The Walking Dead and we'd rather have it slow and right than just be quick," Hurd said. "We take it very seriously and AMC has been terrific in understanding- all in good time."

The Walking Dead airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
