Peter Capaldi is now in control of the TARDIS as the Twelfth Doctor, and writer Mark Gatiss has informed Whovians that the Doctor will entirely unpredictable as he enters his second round of regenerations.

It looks like the Gallifreyan will be playing by an entirely new set of rules as season 8 gets underway. Like Tom Baker and Christopher Eccelston, Capaldi is tasked with portraying a darker, more dangerous Time Lord - one with perhaps a dash of chaotic insanity.

"I saw a little of Peter Capaldi in action and he is wonderful," Gattis explained to Adorocinema (via Doctor Who TV). "I think it will be very exciting for everyone, because it is a more dangerous, more urgent Doctor. It has a side of crazy."
