With AMC's The Walking Dead set to air its final two episodes of season 4 in coming weeks, fans should be prepared for more potential deaths and changes among their favorite characters.
What's Next For Carol's Character?
On Wednesday, HeyUGuys posted an interview with Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne on the TV series, and the actress hinted at several new developments concerning her character's potential for a romantic relationship with Rick (Andrew Lincoln). In the comics, the character eventually became involved with Andrea, but her character was killed off in the season 3 finale, opening up the possibility of a Michonne/Rick romance.
"I will say that, you know, we'll see what happens," she said, "Michonne has great respect for Rick, and she feels she gets him. She trusts him. That's as far as I'll say..."
Gurira remained coy about other topics, including season 5 news and the chance that her character could be the next one to die on the series.
"We,, we've only just finished shooting this season so they're working on season five and we're all going to have to wait and see what it has in store!" the actress said. "You have to get to the end of season four first because who knows what happens?"
When asked if that was a hint that her character could die soon since no one is safe on the show, Gurira kept specific details a mystery.
"You just said it! No one is safe on The Walking Dead," she said.
The Walking Dead airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
