It looks like RuPaul's Drag Race is causing some stir for fans after last Monday's episode that involved a game of "Female or She-male."

A Look Inside April Carrion's Private Life

The way the game worked was the contestants would look at a picture of a person's lips, legs and other body parts, and the contestants had to decide if the person was a female or shemale- in RuPauls words, "a biological woman or a psychological woman." Some of the people in the photos included Christina Aguilera, wrestler Chyna and several drag queens. Another photo included RuPaul judge Michelle Visage, which contestant Darienne Lake voted as "shemale" after seeing a close-up shot of her cleavage.

This moment on the reality series is apparently causing some controversy among Twitter users who revealed their thoughts on how insensitive it was to have this challenge on the series.

New Contestants Dish On The Series

Michael @maicle wrote, "I'm always just really disapoointed whenever I'm reminded of just how transphobic rupaul is. Like...Really? 'Female or she-male?"

Sabine @ThatSabineGirl wrote, "F---ing h--- RuPaul. Nope. Just nope. If your claim on the use of 'tranny' is shaky, 'shemale' is certainly NOT your word to use."

Least @leastt wrote, "c'mon rupaul, 'she-male' is not a word you should be using. do not perpetuate that this is an ok word when it's so hurtful to trans women."

Natalie Mikkelborg @Grizzlei wrote, "RuPaul insists 'Tranny' isn't a slur and nobody's been harmed by it then hosts 'Female vs. Shemale' challenge on his show. F---ing classy."

RuPaul's Drag Race airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Logo TV.
