Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky Confirm They're Expecting Twins

Hemsworth and Pataky married in December 2010 after less than a year of dating, and are already parents to a nearly two-year-old daughter, India Rose. They announced Pataky's second pregnancy in November of last year and confirmed they were expecting twins in January.

The 30-year-old actor previously opened up about how much he was enjoying fatherhood to Parade Magazine back in October, and said that being a dad was one of the best things that had ever happened to him.

"It's the greatest thing I've ever been a part of. When I am at work, she's what I'm thinking about, and when I'm not at work, she's who I'm hanging out with!" he said. "I think [parenthood] brings out the child in all of us. That's what's so beautiful. It reminds you of the fascination you had with things, and how you can spend hours just being with someone. It's amazing."

Pataky also gushed about the kind of father her husband is telling People that she was in awe of how he would react to the simple things their daughter would do.

"He was almost crying. He was [screaming for joy]," she told the magazine last April. "She's been trying and I would see Chris saying 'Papa' to her all the time. We say it in Spanish because I speak Spanish to her."

Congratulations to the new parents!
