The hit CBS series Criminal Minds is known for dealing with circumstances that solely revolve around the case itself, and not the characters' personal lives, per se. However, there is an unusual twist for the upcoming April 9 episode.

Prentiss Returns for 200th Episode

The suspenseful title "What Happens in Mecklinburg...' of the impending episode, coupled with the reported new twist, may set Criminal Minds on an entirely new story trajectory. As noted by CarterMatt, "Traditionally there is not a whole lot of additional time spent on any of the characters' home lives... at least not for a lengthy period of time," and this upcoming episode seeks to change that.

Typically, the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) in the show deals with kidnapping cases. However, in this episode, not only must actor Shemar Moore's character Derek Morgan deal with yet another kidnapping case, but he will also have to deal with the home-life pressures from his girlfriend Savannah about frequently being away for work.

Morgan's Hunt From An Upstate Murder Case Survivor Sparks Additional Questions?

A passage from the episode shares, "A series of targeted kidnappings from Memphis have the BAU searching for a commonality between the missing persons and a motive to lead to the UnSub. Meanwhile, Savannah vents her frustration to Morgan about the amount of traveling he does for his job."
