Emma Roberts made an impression in her American Horror Story debut in Coven, so the actress is coming back for the upcoming fourth season.

American Horror Story Season 4: Back To New Orleans?

Roberts joined the cast of American Horror Story in season 3 for the witch-themed Coven, playing young diva actress Madison Montgomery. While it was uncertain if she would return for a new role in season 4's Freak Show, co-creator Ryan Murphy recently confirmed that she would have a role in some capacity.

Almost all of the cast of Coven convened at the PaleyFest in Los Angeles Friday night where Murphy announced that everyone on the stage would return for Freak Show, including Roberts. This also includes her fiancee Evan Peters, who has starred in all three seasons of American Horror Story.

Season 4 Cast: Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson IN; Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga OUT?

Very few details about Freak Show have been revealed thus far. The biggest details revealed have been the cast and a brief synopsis of what the season will be about. Set in 1950, Freak Show stars Jessica Lange as the owner of one of the last freak shows in America. Among her troupe of freaks are characters played by Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Frances Conroy and Sarah Paulson.

Murphy also revealed that The Shield star Michael Chiklis was signing on to star in Freak Show. The actor will be playing the father of Peters' character and the ex-husband of Bates' character.

American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has not yet announced a set air date.
