The 45-story skyscraper in Venezuela also known as 'Skyscraper Slum' is becoming a new sensation ever since it was abandoned in 1994, and it looks like some new facts about it have been released.

On Thursday, NBC News revealed some information about the building, which could be the tallest in the world.

It looks like the skyscraper is a good place to hold barbeques and it boasts a helicopter landing pad, which could make it a great place to hold events. This could create an entirely new concept for the building considering it was supposed to be a financial center, but didn't become fully made when its developer David Brillembourg died.

The building that is now known as the 'Tower of David' is supposedly becoming a sanctuary for people compared to other buildings that may have been taken over by crime and violence.

"There is far more order and far less crime in here than out there," Thais Ruiz, a resident in the building says. Apparently, Ruz is doing pretty well in the building with her husband a five children, turning it into a home. Ruiz had apparently lived in a tent before, which makes quite a change especially since Ruiz had to put up with horrible danger in the past.

"I never lived in an apartment before. We're so comfortable now," Ruiz said. "We had to get out of Petare and the daily gang shootouts. Once we found a dead body on our doorstep. Now look, we can leave the door wide open."
