As she strives to continue making a healthy comeback following a tumultuous 2013, actress Amanda Bynes is showcasing a much healthier look and killer bikini body while on vacation with her parents.

The actress, who has been in Cabo San Lucas with her parents to celebrate her 28^th birthday during her spring break from fashion school, tweeted two photos of herself sporting a neon yellow-green bikini as she posed and bared her backside to the camera.

"Spring Break," she captioned one where she is laying out on a chaise lounge, before following up with one where she poses.

"Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes," she captioned the second one.

In a photo obtained by The Daily Mail, the actress also enjoyed a dip in the pool while on the trip, and even appeared to chat with a male fan while in the water.

The actress has reportedly also felt confident enough since receiving treatment for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder to consider dating again, though any potential suitors would need her parents stamp of approval first.

"Amanda is in a state where someone could come in and take advantage of her, so her parents are trying to find dates through friends," a source said earlier in March. "Her parents are very protective. They won't let Amanda date just anyone -- bad boy types need not apply!"

Overall, the actress is cutting a healthier figure and sporting a look much more reminiscent of her healthier pre-2013 days. The changes in her look are radically different from just one year ago, when the actress was often spotted out looking dazed and confused, with her hair either dyed random colors or sporting wigs, and with two cheek piercings on her face.

Her increasingly bizarre behavior last year culminated in the actress being placed in an involuntary psychiatric hold at a Los Angeles hospital, after setting a fire in a driveway in Thousand Oaks.

She left a rehab facility where she had further received treatment in December 2013.
